With the successful completion of the Capital Campaign, it has become apparent that we must establish an Annual Fund. As past president Lynn Freeman has said, “We cannot maintain our facility, fulfill our educational mission or protect and maintain trails without regular annual support.”
Please consider a donation in support of GMHA!

What is an annual fund? Unlike a capital campaign, which is launched periodically by nonprofit entities to finance large one-time capital projects and renovation requirements, an annual fund exists to support the annual ongoing operational costs of running an organization. It is an annual appeal for money that is used to help fill the gap between income from fees and the operating costs.
It is a vital part of budget balancing for most nonprofit entities and usually covers a meaningful portion of a nonprofit’s expenses.

They are the annual expenses incurred to run GHMA that include trail maintenance, mowing, dragging the rings, vehicle maintenance, salaries for all the hard-working GMHA employees, cost of hay, shavings, member communications, garbage removal and insurance, plus the costs of running all the educational clinics, 4-H camps and Junior Horsemanship Clinics, and everything else that GMHA holds throughout the year. This just scratches the surface; there are many more costs.
GMHA's Annual Fund provides vital support to keep GMHA running!
