GMHA : The Green Mountain Horse Association

As a struggling and uncertain economy continues, more properties are hitting the market. Some are properties whose current owners generously grant permission for GMHA members and event participants to access their trails. Will the next landowner share these same values? Only time will tell.

This web page was created with the intention of keeping our ever-expanding membership aware of properties that are now in transition with "trails at risk” AND those that have already donated trail easements to GMHA, which secure trail use into perpetuity.

With this added exposure, we hope to facilitate interest—and ultimately sales—to keep these properties in the hands of like-minded horse people with the ultimate goal of “keeping the trails open.”

Photographs, brief property descriptions, the trail’s importance to our overall trail network, and direct links to the realtors are provided for each property. Anyone interested in these properties should contact the realtors directly.
