Ways to Help

bullet

Join others by giving to the GMHA Campaign in a meaningful way.  Make GMHA your top philanthropic priority.

bullet

Host a party to engage others in the Campaign.

bullet

We are planning a silent auction at the Season’s End Celebration in October, 2007.  Participate in the Auction by donating something to the auction. More information will be available in the coming months.

bullet

Be an ambassador for GMHA by introducing GMHA to others in their area who have an interest in horseback riding.  Invite them to an event at GMHA.

bullet

Consider making a gift through your foundation or through a charitable gift fund.  If you are on the Board, help to introduce GMHA to your foundation.

bullet

If there are several family members who enjoy coming to GMHA, consider making a family gift by joining resources and honoring the generations who have been engaged at GMHA.

bullet

Honor a loved one or horse by making a gift. It’s a perfect way to acknowledge a special accomplishment in someone’s life.  GMHA will send a letter to the person being honored telling them of this gift.

bullet

For the “person who has everything” consider making a gift to honor someone’s birthday, anniversary, marriage, Mother or Father’s day.  More and more, people are asking that in lieu of gifts a contribution be made in their honor to the philanthropy which has significance to them.  Instead of having wedding favors, couples can make a gift to GMHA to thank those who have come to their special occasion.

bullet

Planned gifts such as charitable lead trusts, annuities and other forms of deferred giving are important ways to build endowment.  Be one of the first to help get GMHA’s planned giving started. We would be happy to have you speak to a knowledgeable individual about options for making deferred gifts or to help you to plan your estate.
