6:30pm – Welcome dinner for early bird riders at Smoke Rise Farm. Contact Dinah Rojek – dinahr@tds.net if you will be in town early and would like to attend.

Thursday, August 29

11:00am – 100-Mile Riders weigh in and pull for starting positions – Office Porch
12:00pm – Lunch meeting for judges, scribes, vetting stewards, manager – Youth Center
12:30pm – Inspection of 100-Mile Horses and all those riding the 40 miles on Friday – Pavilion
1:00pm – Arrival & check-in for Pleasure Riders begins – Office
4:00pm – Inspections conclude. Ride Briefing – Youth Center
6:00pm – Banquet and Landowner Appreciation Dinner at the Woodstock Inn – ticket required
10:00pm – Stables close – all horses competing on Friday must be stabled at GMHA

Friday, August 30

5:00am – Stables open
5:30am – Coffee and light breakfast in Cafe for all riders & volunteers – served until 9am
6:30am – 100/75/40 Mile horses depart GMHA at two-minute intervals
9:00am – Mandatory Pleasure Ride Briefing – Upwey Visitor’s Center
10:00am – Hold in South Reading opens
1:20pm – Horses begin to return to GMHA, vetting in the Pavilion
1:00 – 3:30pm – Lunch at the Cafe for Riders & Volunteers – wristband required
3:00pm – Inspection of 60 & 35-Mile horses – Pavilion
5:00pm – Ride Briefing, 100/60/35 Milers – Youth Center
6:00pm – Pasta Dinner – Youth Center – wristband required
10:00pm – Stables close – all horses competing on Saturday except the 15-Milers must be stabled at GMHA

Saturday, August 31

5:00am – Stables open
5:30am – Coffee and light breakfast in the Cafe for all riders & volunteers – served until 9am
6:30am – 100/75/60/35-Mile horses depart GMHA at two-minute intervals
7:00am – 15-Mile Conditioning Distance Ride inspection – Pavilion
8:30am – Ride Briefing, 15-Mile – Youth Center
9:00am – 15-Mile horses depart GMHA at two-minute intervals
9:00am – Mandatory Pleasure Ride Briefing – Upwey Visitor’s Center
9:30am – Hold in Taftsville for 100/75/60/35 opens
11:00am – 15-Mile horses begin to return to GMHA – vetting in the Pavilion
12:30pm – 100/75/60/35-Mile horses begin to return to GMHA – vetting in the Pavilion 15-Mile awards (time approx.) – Youth Center
1:00 – 3:30pm – Lunch at the Cafe for riders & volunteers – wristband required
3:00pm – 75 & 35-Mile awards (time approx.) – Youth Center
4:00pm – Inspection of 25-Mile Riders – Pavilion
5:00pm – Ride Briefing, 100/60/25 – Youth Center
4:00 – 7:00pm – Open House and light dinner fare at the Vermont Horse Country Store – free of charge
10:00pm – Stables close – all horses competing on Sunday must be stabled at GMHA

Sunday, September 1

5:00am – Stables open
5:30am – Coffee and light breakfast in Youth Center for riders & volunteers – served until 9am
6:30am – 100/60/25-Mile horses depart at 2 minute intervals
8:00am – Hold for 100/60/25 in West Windsor
9:00am – Mandatory Pleasure Ride Briefing – Upwey Visitor’s Center
11:00am – 100/60/25’s begin to return to GMHA – vetting in Pavilion
11:30am – 2:30pm – Rider & volunteer brunch at the Cafe
4:00pm – Awards Ceremony for Distance Days, horses presented either in hand or under saddle (rider’s choice), best attire
5:00pm – Photographer available in White Ring for victory shots
