Event Description

Come and enjoy a beautiful pace in the perfect hunt country surrounding GMHA. A Hunter Pace has its origins in foxhunting – it is a conditioning ride for hunters with a hidden optimum time. Our pace is a great way to test your horse’s fitness for hunting or just enjoy an opportunity to take a fun trail ride with a team of friends and have fun over some optional jumps!

The course starts and finishes on our grounds. It is approximately 8 miles and will include a great variety of inviting and optional jumps, not to exceed 3’3” in height. There will be Hunting (faster) and Hacking (leisurely) divisions with ribbons and prizes awarded to 1st-8th place teams in each division. A continental breakfast and barbeque lunch will be served in the GMHA Youth Center.
