Fall Foliage 2018 Trailer Ride in Barnard, VT

Where:

Picturesque Barnard is just 20 minutes by trailer from GMHA. Our location is 1202 South Perry Rd. in Woodstock (Barnard). Our hosts, Jill and George Helmer are welcoming us to their farm. We will be riding on their peaceful private trails and then passing through several other large properties in a lovely loop. The views are gorgeous. It is almost all trail with a bit of very remote dirt road. The footing is soft and inviting. The route is 6-7 miles. You will be parking in a field after traveling uphill on a gravel road. There is plenty of parking and grass in the field. Four wheel drive is recommended for the last bit of driveway and the field. There will be signs to direct you.

When:

Thursday, September 27. Either meet at 1202 South Perry Road by 10am at the latest, or meet at GMHA at 9am to caravan over with others. There will be continental breakfast available at 8am at GMHA. The pre-ride briefing at the site will be at 10am. Upon your return, we will serve lunch and you can sit, visit and enjoy the view.
